Susan Marie Johnson, 66, passed away at home in Eureka, MT on Thursday, February 20, 2025.
Susan was born on August 24, 1958, to Frederick William Evern and Marie Maxine Brososky in Juneau, AK. She was the youngest of two children and was raised in the small community of Juneau, AK. At the age of 16, she met David Gene Till Jr. (a coast guard) and would marry on August 8, 1975, in Juneau.
Susan and David welcomed their first son, Solomon Christopher, on January 25, 1976. They lived and worked and loved their little family. On December 29, 1976, they would welcome their second son, David Gene III. David Till worked for the Coast Guard until 1977 and would then work for the Alaska State Highway. At this time Susan was a stay-at-home mom, enjoying and raising their two young boys.
Life marched on for a few years and then on April 12, 1980, they welcomed a daughter Bonnie Susan in Juneau, AK.
As a young family they lived in Juneau, AK & Homer, AK and had many adventures as a family. They would later move to Lakebay, WA and it's there where they would welcome their second daughter Julie Marie on May 5, 1983. They purchased a home in Lakebay from David's parents and had a mini farm. They opened and owned a small Ice cream shop in Port Orchard for a short period of time.
In the later 80's, David got sick from a disease that lasted years. He passed away on September 9, 1990. After David's passing, Susan and her kids moved to West Seattle for a short time frame, and after that moved to Whidbey Island, where they would live for a few years. In 1993, Susan and the kids, now one pre-teen & two teens, made the decision to move to Sandpoint, Idaho.
Lots of life and adventures and some struggles, but this was a very happy and fulfilling time for Susan and her kids. The kids grew, graduated, married and started their own families. Lots of happiness for all of them! After her kids left home, she had some adventures in Alaska, Washington and Idaho. She worked for the State of Alaska and worked for Sea Alaska. When she wasn't in Alaska, she worked miscellaneous jobs and spent time with each of her kid’s families.
She would later meet Roy Johnson, and they would marry on June 7, 2013. Now, retired and doing all the things she loved to do and enjoying their time together.

Her many talents and interests were quilting, sewing, gardening, canning, being outdoors, she loved the ocean and seashells, she enjoyed traveling, loved music, journaling & reading.
