Steven Sell Obituary

Steven Edward Sell passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, September 20, 2025. Steve was born on April 16, 1953, in Westbrook, Minnesota the son of Edward and Lillian (Cohrs) Sell. Steve was baptized in Westbrook, Minnesota and confirmed at Fron Lutheran Church in Starbuck, Minnesota. Steve attended Glenwood high school and went on to attend Alexandria technical college for small engines. Shortly after this he was blessed with two sons. Steve was a bit of an entrepreneur. He worked many laborer type jobs and at one time owned the bait shop in Starbuck, Minnesota. Steve then found a career that complimented his love of cooking in the food concession business. During this time, he met and married his second wife, Michele (Garner) Sell. Steve and Michele spent time enjoying the sites as they worked over the road. Michele passed away in Nevada on May 25, 1999. Then on September 30, 2005, Steve married Eileen (Mize) Sell and they made their home in Eureka, Montana, where they enjoyed their mountain view, mules and horses. Eileen sadly passed away Dec. 3, 2007.

Through the years Steve spent his free time enjoying fishing, hunting, shooting, working on guns, butchering, trapping, riding motorcycle, photography and spending quality time with friends, family, and random people whose paths he crossed. He was also very passionately involved with the Tobacco Valley Gun Club in Eureka.

Steve is survived by his son, Mike (Vicky) Sell of Garfield, Minnesota; three grandsons: Hunter, Wyatt and Levi Sell; and his daughter-in-law, Heidi (Fahlin) Sell of Morris, Minnesota. He is proceeded in death by his wives: Michelle (Gardner) Sell and Eileen (Mize) Sell; his parents; son, Christian Sell; sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Charles Lida.
