Sharon Ann Porter

Sharon Ann (Rayner) Porter, 85, passed away on August 18, 2025. She was born on June 9, 1940, in Richmond, Michigan, to Glenn Pearl Rayner and Julia May Rayner. Sharon attended school until her 8th grade year. She met and married Gerald Charles Porter on December 30, 1961, at Flint Michigan. They had three children Wesley, Lola, and Deana. While Sharon was a stay-at-home mom, she worked numerous jobs. For 8 years she was a snowbird in Arizona, worked at flea markets, was a Foster Grandparent at the Troy Elementary School for 10 plus years, and was awarded for being a Foster Grandparent for all those years. Sharon was also a member of the Lady Auxiliary Club in Troy, MT.
Sharon is preceded in death by her parents Glenn and Julia Rayner; Husband Gerald Charles Porter; son Wesley Dan Porter; and 13 siblings. She is survived by her children Lola Porter of Troy, MT and Deana Thill of Spokane, WA; and grandchildren Suzanne Tennant, Mikaela Edwards, Tana Thill, Katelynne Hunnicultt, Summer Pate, Lennyx Barkuloo, Brett Thomson, and Brett James Thomson.
