RUBY G (MATHESON) MOCKO

Ruby G. Mocko, age 93, was called to her heavenly home on April 12, 2021 at Kalispell Regional Hospital. She was born February 24, 1928 to Alf and Helen Matheson.

On August 15, 1950 Ruby married Johnny Mocko in Conrad, MT. In 1956 they purchased a farm in Eureka where they raised their family. Ruby enjoyed spending time with family, gardening, canning, baking and sewing. She made and repaired numerous quilts for her grandkids that will be cherished. She also made many quilts with the ladies at Holy Cross Lutheran Church where she was an active member.

Whether you visited Ruby and were offered fresh baked goods, or she shared her garden produce with you, or saw her at church, you could be assured she would give you a sweet smile and kind words and that her offers to pray for you were genuine. Ruby will be greatly missed by her children, siblings, grandchildren, and friends.

Ruby was preceded by her husband Johnny, granddaughter Lorena and her parents.

Ruby is survived by her children, Nancy (Bert) Pluid-Liebig, Gary (Beth) Mocko, and David (Terri) Mocko; grandsons Dominic, John, Stephen, Joshua, Eric, Joseph, Kolbe, Alex, and Bill; granddaughters Cathy, Heidi, Jess, Mikael, and Kelsey, Genaya; 29 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Eureka.  Arrangements are by Schnackenberg Funeral Home in Eureka.  Online condolences and memories may be shared at www.schnackenbergfh.com.
