Morlen (Rusty) Bryant, 85, passed away on August 4, 2024, at the Libby Care Center. He was born in Sophia, New Mexico on June 30, 1939, to Sherman and Mabel Bryant. He married Wanda Cummings in 1962. They had three children, Todd, Jeremy and Tonya. Wanda passed away in 1991. In 1995, Rusty married Gloria Hosea of Troy, where he gained three step-children and six of Gloria’s stepchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter Ceanna; wife Wanda; and siblings Hoy, Verle and Corene.
Rusty worked in construction and had retired from the Lincoln County Road Department. He served in the US Army and later in the Army Reserves.
Rusty is survived by his wife Gloria; sons Todd and Jeremy (Wendy); daughter Tonya Diller; step-children Kelly (Terry) Lister, Keith (Penny) Boswell, Kevin (Malissa) Boswell, Paula McNeill, Bob (Sandy) Hosea, Patty (Mike) Dallabetta, Vicki Zimmerle, Denise Vogel, and Bruce Hosea; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. At his request, there will be no service. He is at peace now—dementia is a terrible disease. Memorials may be made to the Ceanna Diller Scholarship Fund in care of Penny Boswell, PO Box 985, Troy, MT 59935.
