Marsha Carol McCann

Marsha Carol McCann, 76, passed away on June 16, 2025. She was born in Vancouver, WA to Russell and Nancy McGuire on Sept 25, 1948. The oldest of three children, Marsha and her sisters grew up in Portland, OR, where she started primary school. Marsha attended High School in Palm Springs, CA and graduated from Medical Lake, WA in 1966. She met Michael McCann of Libby while working as a waitress at the Spokane Airport. Mike and Marsha married in Coeur d’Alene, ID in October of 1966, and moved to Libby Montana shortly after. Their first son, Shawn, was born in August the next year and their son, Alexander, a few years later. Mike and Marsha made their home in Libby while raising their children. Mike worked at St. Regis and later Champion International. Marsha was a home maker and worked at many other jobs. She also did a lot of volunteering in the Libby community. Marsha enjoyed gardening, collecting miniatures, and visiting with family and friends. 
Marsha is survived by her husband Michael; son Shawn and DeAnn of Dayton, WA; son Alexander and Jessica of Hermiston, OR; and three grandchildren Keagan, Ainsley, and Skylar.
There will be a service on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, 1:00 p.m., at the Schnackenberg Funeral Home; 422 West 2nd Street; Libby, MT. Arrangements are under the care of Schnackenberg Funeral Home of Libby. Online condolences and memories may be shared by visiting www.schnackenbergfh.com.
