MARCIA I (MUELLER) JACKY

Marcia Irene Jacky, 85, passed away from complications due to a stroke at Libby Care Center Sunday, July 24, 2022. Marcia Irene Mueller was born in Lewistown, MT, April 25, 1937 to Theadore and Helen Mueller. They moved to Missoula, MT with her two brothers Ted and Bruce where she was raised and educated.

She met the love of her life, Robert Allyn Jacky and they married in March of 1958 and then moved to Libby, Mt. where they would raise their four children.

Marcia had many interests including getting together with her husband and friends for a game of Bridge and she also loved art which she shared with many students as a substitute Art Teacher in the Libby School District. She also took on a position as a bookkeeper at St. Regis Paper Company; she would take on the management of three credit unions which would merge into one called Lincoln County Union. In her retirement years she enjoyed traveling to Yuma, AZ with her husband, spending the winter months there she worked as a tour guide for Tour West. When returning to Libby in the spring she would volunteer at Kootenai Pets for Life and also the Libby Food Pantry, also volunteering at Bountiful Baskets.

Marcia was also active at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, where she volunteered in a variety of jobs and was also a longtime parishioner.

Marcia was preceded in death by her husband Robert (2011) also her daughter Susan (2016).

Marcia is survived by her daughter Barb (Doug) Yarger from Libby; 2 sons Steven Jacky, Libby; Brian Jacky, grandson Chris Jacky (Pre) Kalispell; grandsons Matthew and Nick, grandson Son Spencer and granddaughter Caroline Bivrell; granddaughters Shelly (Paul) Belliston, Racheal (Tony) Bingham, and also her beloved dog Rowdy.

Memorial Services will be held at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church on Thursday, July 28, 2022  with a Rosary at 10:30 a.m. at the church.  Arrangements are by Schnackenberg Funeral Home in Libby.  Online condolences and memories may be shared at www.schnackenbergfh.com.
