Lynn Ingram Obituary

Lynn Dee Ingram, age 69, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2026, at her home, the Montana Avenue Group Home in Libby, Montana, with her longtime and cherished staff by her side.
Lynn was born on August 4, 1956, in Great Lakes, Illinois, to Gale Ann Licastro (Shanahan) and Donald William Ingram.

In 1971, Steve Cerkoney came into Lynn's life and became a positive influence for both Lynn and her younger brother, Donald. Steve loved them dearly and made such a lasting impact on Lynn that she soon began referring to him as her dad.

Lynn spent her early years living between California and Illinois. As an adult, she moved with her family to a small animal farm in Kila, Montana. A few years later, she moved into a group home and eventually into her own apartment, where she received services through Flathead Industries. From 1977 to 1994, Lynn worked at the thrift store, where she took pride in her work and enjoyed being part of her community.

In 2006, Lynn moved to Libby, Montana, where she lived at Green Spring Apartments and received services through Achievements. Following a medical event, she moved into the Montana Avenue Group Home, where she resided for the remainder of her life.

Lynn was an independent, caring woman and a strong self-advocate. She had a special love for animals, especially dogs, cats, and her beloved parakeets. She was passionate about flowers and crafts and enjoyed baking treats to share with others. Lynn always loved hearing stories about people's pets and children and was known for asking about animals whenever she met someone new.

Lynn was a fan of John Wayne, Elvis Presley, Disney movies, and Hallmark films. She cared deeply for her friends and was a fierce protector of those she loved. Lynn was a spirited woman with a sharp wit, a larger-than-life personality, and a wonderful sense of humor that endeared her to everyone fortunate enough to know her. She had a remarkable ability to capture hearts and build lasting friendships. Lynn was deeply cherished and will be dearly missed by all whose lives she touched.
