Lydia Mae Chupp, 60, entered into the heavenly realm on September 5, 2023, in her home with family and friends by her side.
Lydia was born in Elkhart, Indiana, on February 8, 1963, to Harvey and Nancy Chupp. She moved to Minnesota with her family in 1979. Lydia worked in healthcare and did various cleaning jobs. She moved to Eureka, Montana, in 1991, and forever called Montana her home. Lydia loved to travel and spend time with friends. She visited Africa and became an avid collector of elephants. Her hobbies included putting puzzles together, scrapbooking, and making cards, which she sold at craft fairs. Lydia loved her nieces and nephews and sent all 62 of them a handmade birthday card every year. She was a very strong and determined person and overcame many obstacles in life.
Lydia was diagnosed with dystonia at the age of 9, but she didn’t let that stop her! As she battled cancer in the last few years, her faith in Jesus was stronger than ever, and was a testimony of grace, hope, and perseverance that only comes from God.
Lydia is preceded in death by her father Harvey J. Cupp, and brother-in-law Jacob Beechy.
Lydia is survived by her mother, Nancy Chupp of Eden Valley, MN; sisters Ruth Beechy of Etna Green, IN, Barb (Lynn) Weaver of Jamestown, PA, Ellen (Steve) Beiler of Kenora, Ontario, and Linda (Vernon) McCray of Paynesville, MN; brothers Sam (Becky) Chupp, and Steve (Vera) Chupp, both of Shipshewana, IN, Paul (Marian) Chupp of Paynesville, MN, John (Martha) Chupp of Mills Creek, WA, Mark (Freida) Chupp of Eden Valley, MN, Joe (Pamela) Chupp of Grove City, MN, and Glen (Katherine) Chupp, of Eden Valley, MN.
