Lindy Ann (Mellem) Goyen Obituary
Our sweet sister, Lindy Ann (Mellem) Goyen, 67, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2024, following a long illness, at her home in Libby, Montana. She was born February 2, 1957, in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota to Vernon and Lydia Mellem. Lindy married Daniel R. Goyen on July 2, 1994, in Libby, Montana.
Lindy loved animals, including her pets Pudge, Onyxa, and Booger. She loved feeding the deer and wild turkeys from her deck. Lindy loved spending time in the outdoors in her beautiful home of Libby, Montana. She especially enjoyed the time camping with her husband, Danny Goyen. Lindy had a great sense of humor. She loved to hear and tell funny jokes and stories. 
She was preceded in death by her parents Vernon and Lydia Mellem, and her husband Daniel R. Goyen. Lindy is survived by her, sisters Darla Conners, Brenda Fluke (Lee), Kim Brown (Philip); nieces and nephews, Jessica Bailey, James (Jimmy) Kirkham, Thomas Conners, Jen Grant, Alyssa Fluke, Jordynne Brown, and Jaryd Brown; and various cousins reside in the Libby area. We love her very much and she will be missed.
