Judith Faye Cummings, 78, died Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at the Libby Care Center. She was born on November 24, 1946, in St Edward Nebraska to Daniel and Eileen Lowenberg (Wood). 

Judy was raised in Lincoln, Nebraska and upon graduating high school joined the Navy where she was stationed in Norfolk, VA to study communications.  During her time in the Navy, she met Larry Cummings, they would later marry on January 27, 1967.

Judy and Larry returned to Libby and then eventually to Troy to raise their two children. Judy worked for the USFS and then bought Henry’s restaurant where she worked until a few years before her passing.

She liked watching crime shows, especially Criminal Minds, football, gardening, and spending time with her grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Eileen Lowenberg and her twin brother Daniel Lowenberg.

She is survived by her husband Larry; children Terry (Cindy) of Troy and Jerry (Andrea) of Troy; sisters Maxine Fazel (Dorrance) and Sharon Stumme of Seward, NE; grandchildren Danielle, Megan, Dylan, and Devynn; great-grandchildren Annabelle, Vanessa, Evander, Charlotte, and Octavia

Judy was laid to rest on Friday, June 13 at the Milnor Lake Cemetery. At her request no services were held. Arrangements are under the care of Schnackenberg Funeral Home of Libby, MT. Online condolences and memories may be shared by visiting www.schnackenbergfh.com.
