Obituary – Joan Lillian Jellesed
Joan Lillian Jellesed, 85, passed away Friday, May 30, 2025, at her home in Libby, MT. She was born October 26, 1939, in White Earth, ND, to Ole and Gusta Raan. She grew up in White Earth, ND. Joan married Raynard Jellesed on July 9, 1957, and they celebrated 67 years of marriage together. She was a devoted and loving wife and mother. Joan will be dearly missed by all who loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents; 4 brothers; and 5 sisters.
Survivors include her husband Raynard of Libby; son Mike (Deena) Jellesed of Libby; daughter Tami Jellesed Holzer (Dave) of Libby; grandchildren, Chad (Chelsie) Doney, Chelsey (Justin) Lewis, Jeff Holzer, Jared, Logan, Lexie, and Tyler; 2 great-granddaughters Maddilyn Rae and Jayde Alexa; and many other family members.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, June 29, 2025, at the Jellesed Family residence; 127 Champion Hall Road South; Libby, MT. Everyone is free to stop by to Celebrate the life of Joan Jellesed. Arrangements are under the care of Schnackenberg Funeral Home of Libby, MT.
