Isabell Edna (Gregory) Hearn, 88, died November 1, 2022 at The Heritage Place in Kalispell of natural causes and entered into eternal life with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ (John 3:16, 2 Corinthians 5:8). She was born December 5, 1933 to Herb and Thelma Gregory in Sharon Springs, New York. Isabell married Donald Hearn on July 10, 1951 in Kalispell. They resided their entire married life in Trego and raised five children. They planted several varieties of apple trees, along with a large garden. Isabell enjoyed gardening and tending her flowers, canning peaches, crab apple jelly and huckleberry jelly. She also loved picnics, walks, bike rides and horseshoes. The Hearn family faithfully attended the Fortine Community Church, where Don served as an elder and Sunday School teacher and Isabell served as a deaconess. Her faith and love for God, church and family were evident in her life.
Isabell was preceded in death by her parents, Herb and Thelma Gregory; brothers, Herb Jr. (Helen) Gregory and Cy Gregory. She is survived by her brother, Richard (Ginnie) Gregory of Libby; sister-in-law, Nancy Gregory of Oregon; sons, Don Jr. (Sherry) Hearn of Columbia Falls, Dan (Geri) Hearn of Columbia Falls, Doug (Roze) of Fortine, John Hearn of Trego; daughter Mary (Dave) Olson of Anaconda; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and numerous other family members.
Services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 7, 2022, at the Fortine Community Church in Fortine, MT. Interment will follow at the Tobacco Valley Cemetery in Eureka.
