Frank "Ron" R. Williams

Frank (Ron) Williams, 85, of Kalispell, MT, passed away on September 19, 2023. 

Ron was born on December 2, 1937, to Fredina and Frank Williams in Independence, MO. He developed a love for the outdoors early in childhood and loved to hunt in the Missouri woods with his dog Shep. After graduating with a degree in Forestry from the University of Missouri, Ron worked for the US Forest Service for more than 30 years. 

Ron met his wife Burma on a blind date while they were both pursuing degrees at Mizzou.  They were married for more than 64 years and went on to raise two children, Mark, and Anne Williams.  Ron’s deep Christian faith was evident throughout his life, and he was committed to serving Christ and his community in a variety of roles including longtime church elder. 

Ron was preceded in death by father Frank, mother Fredina, and son Mark.

Ron is survived by his wife Burma Williams and daughter Anne Williams. 

Graveside services will be held at the Fortine Cemetery on Friday, September 29, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. followed by a reception at the Fortine Community Church. Arrangements are under the care of the Schnackenberg Funeral Home of Eureka.  Memories and condolences may be shared by visiting www.schnackenbergfh.com.
