Florence Idell Pound

Florence Idell Burlingham Pound, 77, of Kalispell joined her heavenly family on Tuesday April 4, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born to Ethan and Mary Burlingham in Eureka, Montana on February 21, 1946.

She married Grant Pound on June 24, 1967, in Kalispell Montana.  They had two children, Minta and Jody.

Florence worked at the nursing home in Eureka and at Kalispell Reginal Medical Center, now known as, Logan Heath center in Kalispell, before retiring in 2005. 

Florence deeply loved her daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren as well as her dog Socks.  Anytime we told her “I love you” she always responded with “I love you the most”.  She also enjoyed quilting, growing tomatoes, camping with her family, visiting with friends/family, and her chocolate milkshakes.

Florence is now rejoicing with her husband, Grant Pound; son Jody Pound; as well as her mother and father; 5 siblings; and many other family members.

Florence is survived by her daughter Minta Johnson (Joe); and two grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 15, at the Tobacco Valley Cemetery in Eureka. A gathering will follow, at the Tobacco Valley Senior Center in Eureka.
