LEE UTTER

                    On Thursday, July 9th, 2020, we lost Francis Lee Utter at age 97. He was born on August 22, 1922 to Cecil and Mae Utter, in a tar paper cabin on Pinkham Creek. He attended school on Pinkham and in Eureka, graduating High School in 1941. Lee served in the Navy on a PT Boat in and around South Pacific islands.

                Lee was very active as an establishing member of Eureka’s VFW Post 6786. He delivered Meals on Wheels for the Senior Center. Red Cross Blood donations and Holy Cross Lutheran Church. He served as a Board Member for the InterBel Telephone Cooperative for 34 years

                 Burial will be at 1:00 p.m., on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at Tobacco Valley Cemetery with Military Honors.  A celebration of life service is planned for a later date.
