Donna Marie McCully

Donna Marie Stoken McCully, 81, entered into eternal rest with her Lord and Savior on June 12, 2026. Surrounded by the love of her family and sustained by her faith, Donna leaves behind a legacy of hard work and unconditional love.

Donna was born on September 8, 1944, to Joe and Hazel Stoken. She was raised on the family’s ranch up Graves Creek, where she developed strong work ethic, resilience, and deep love for family that would guide her throughout her life. Donna graduated from Lincoln County High School and married the love of her life, Jerry McCully, on September 9, 1961.

A devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great- great grandmother, Donna dedicated her life to caring for those she loved. Beyond her devotion to family, she was a passionate business owner who faithfully worked every day at the Silverado Motel for more than three decades. Her determination, kindness, and welcoming spirit touched countless lives and made a lasting impression on all.
Those who knew Donna will remember her for her strong spirit, quick wit, and unmistakable sass. She had a way of speaking her mind, making people laugh, and keeping those around her on their toes. Beneath that spirited personality was a heart full of love and loyalty to her family.

For the past three years, Donna courageously battled cancer with remarkable strength and grace. She faced each challenge with determination, rarely complained, and continued to put others before herself. Her resilience and faith carried her through difficult days, and she remained strong and steadfast until the very end.

Donna is survived by her children, Brenda Miller (Darrell), Brian McCully, and Bonnie Williams (Stan); her grandchildren, Jessica (Jeff), Dawson (Rachelle), Devon (Jordyn), Dalton, Danielle (Zachary), Brooke (Derick), and Whitney Jo; her great-grandchildren, Derrik (Emily), LilyAuna, Dillon, Sage, Rylee, Knox, Callahan, Ryder, Braelynn, Collins, and Lainey; her great-great-grandchild, Dustin; and her siblings: Eddie Stoken, Dorothy Weissenfels, Marlene Marchbanks, and Pat Stoken; and as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry McCully; her parents, Joe and Hazel Stoken; and her brother, Mike Stoken.

Donna’s greatest joy was her family. She will be remembered for her unwavering faith, generous heart, strong spirit, and the love she shared with those around her. While her presence will be deeply missed, her family finds comfort in knowing she is now at peace in the arms of her Savior and reunited with loved ones who have gone before her.
