Daniel (Boone) Wesley Tucker, 76, of Troy, MT, passed away on June 4, 2025 in Libby, MT. Born on May 27, 1949 in Spokane, WA. He was a devoted Sailor and a loving Father to Wesley Tucker, Jason Tucker, Hunter Tucker, and Lucas Tucker.
Dad was a dedicated, loving, and caring Father and Sailor who retired as a Vietnam Era Veteran and served Honorably for 22 years in the Navy as a Navy Corpsmen, Physician’s Assistant, and Medical Service Corp Officer. He was recognized as a “Mustang” in the Navy which very few achieve by being Enlisted, then commissioned to Warrant Officer, and finally commissioned as an Officer and retiring as a Navy Lieutenant. Despite his many accolades and responsibilities, he always made time for his four Sons and his passions which included Coaching Sports, Hunting, Fishing, Shooting, and Traveling.
Dad was tough, stubborn, and proud Man but always had a huge loving, giving, and caring heart for his Family. His Family and serving his Country was always paramount to everything he did.
Dad’s most cherished hobbies were roaming the mountains of Northwest Montana hunting for deer and elk or fishing the creeks and rivers of Montana and Washington for trout, salmon, and steelhead. His greatest joy was sharing this passion with his four Sons.
He is survived by his four Sons, five Grandchildren, and three Great Grandchildren as well as many friends and extended family members who all loved and miss him dearly. In Troy, MT and his side of the Family, he will always be known and remembered as Boone.
Memorial Services for my Dad (Boone) is TBD until his official Veteran Headstone is delivered. He is currently interned at Milner Lake Cemetery in Troy, MT.
Our Family is comforted knowing that he is now at peace and home and no longer suffering and looking from above with love, hope, and peace for his Family.
