Daniel “Danny” Delfino Rosas passed away in the early hours on Friday, August 13th, 2021 at the young age of 42. He was a loving husband and father. He is survived by the woman he adored, his wife Tenaya (33), and his baby girl, Galatea (10).
Danny was born in Bagdad, AZ on March 10th, 1979 to Jo Ann Stryker and Daniel Rosas. He grew up between Eureka, MT and Cottonwood, AZ, graduating high school in Eureka class of ‘98. Daniel began his Army career in 1999 and he proudly served in the 25th Infantry until 2003. While stationed at Schofield Army Base in Oahu, Hawaii, Dan was fortunate enough to travel to Egypt & Thailand, make lifelong friends, and have a career he was very proud of. Dan spent the remainder of his military career in Arizona in the Army Reserves from 2003-2005.
In 2008 Danny met his lovely wife Tenaya, they married in 2010, and along came Galatea born November 2010 to complete their happy family. The family settled in Kingman, AZ to be close to Tenaya’s father and siblings. During this time Dan labored in construction to provide for his family. In 2020 Dan and his family decided to move back to Montana to be closer to his mother and siblings. He always dreamed of returning to the gorgeous mountains and wholesome values of the Tobacco Valley.
Dan was a strong and fun loving guy with more energy than most could keep up with. He was fiercely loyal to the ones he loved and we knew he’d have our backs over anything. Dan wasn’t always easy to handle but he was passionate about his feelings and beliefs and just as stubborn as they come.
Dan was preceded in death by his grandparents, Delfino and Barbara Rosas and Albert and Jean Stryker, his Aunt Joyce Gordon, his Uncle Roy Stryker, his Uncle Dario Rosas and his stepmom, Roberta Rosas.
He is survived by his mother Jo Ann Stryker Rosas (Eddie), MT; and father Daniel Rosas, AZ; father and mother-in-law, William Geesey, (Sharolyn), AZ; several siblings Anna Vice (Jade), CO; Christopher Rosas (Katrina), AZ; Richard Rosas, AZ; Brandy Rosas, AZ; Helen Rosas, AZ; Casey Cumbie, MT; Cassandra Cumbie, MT; Justin Locke, MT; and many nieces and nephews.
