Together Carol and Bill built a successful logging business.  Carol was active in the Libby Christian Church, Libby Chamber of Commerce, the hospital auxiliary, Montana Logging Association and Libby Logger Days.  She also supported Bill when he entered politics.  Carol was a loving and loyal wife, mother, sister and friend.  Carol and Bill enjoyed hunting, traveling from Alaska to Hawaii and spending time with family.

Carol was preceded in death by her husband, William S Crismore; her parents, George and Bertha Wells; sister Lynda (Dan) Swartzenberger; stepbrothers, Roger and Larry Wells; and granddaughter Carley Crismore.  She is survived by her children Donald (Jenny) Thompson, Robert (Tina Moe-Thompson), William Jr (Barb) Crismore, Stuart (Rhea) Crismore, Cheri Crismore, Kim (Glynn) Jackson, Joseph (Tamara) Crismore; and her sister Jackqalyn Wells; and along with many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
