Bonnie Lee Jean Schulke passed away peacefully at Libby Care Center of Cascadia on June 21, 2024. She was born in Coeur D’ Alene, Idaho on October 8, 1932, to Ben and Lidia Patzer where she grew up, attended school and married Raymond K. Shuck on February 25, 1948. She had three children: Ronald, Donna and Herbert. She married Earl Schulke on May 15, 1998.
Bonnie had many jobs: waitress, janitor, school bus driver and home maker. She enjoyed school bus driving the most, and she did that until her Lupus ended her working career. She loved hunting, camping, Christmas, Hummingbirds and family. Bonnie was slow to anger and never met any person she didn’t like. She had a knack to be able to talk to anyone. She ruled the roost and did it well. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and 5 generations of family grandmother. She will be truly missed.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, 7 siblings, son-in-law JC Foote, husband Raymond K. Shuck, son Ronald R. Shuck, husband Earl Schulke and son-in-law Jack L. Richmond.
Survivors included her daughter Donna K. Richmond of Libby, Herbert D. Shuck of Libby (wife Sara), 12 grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren too numerous to mention.
She was cremated and will be laid to rest on September 6th at 2 pm at Libby Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Schnackenberg Funeral Home of Libby, MT. Online condolences and memories may be shared by visiting www.schnackenbergfh.com.
