ROBERT WORTH BURNS

Robert W. Burns, 83, died on Saturday, Nov. 26, 2017 at his home in Troy of natural causes.  He was born on Aug. 21, 1934 at Monterey Park, California to Milton and Flossie C. Elliott. 

He enlisted in the US Navy on September 27, 1954 and served as a Petty Officer until being honorably discharged on August 18, 1958.  He married Virginia “Ginger”  in Las Vegas on Aug. 8, 1963. He worked for Boeing as a machinist. 

Robert was a resident of Troy for 23 years.  He was a member of the Door of Hope Church in Troy.  He was a loving husband for 54 years, and was a loving father and grandfather.

Survivors include his wife Ginger Burns; 9 children and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Services will be held at 12:00 noon, on Friday, December 8, 2017 at the Milnor Lake Cemetery in Troy.  Arrangements are by Schnackenberg & Nelson Funeral Home in Libby.  Online condolences and memories may be shared at www.schnackenbergfh.com.
