PHYLISS J (JEAN) DONEY

Jean Doney, 75, left this earth for heaven on Friday, November 15, 2019 at her home in Libby of natural causes.  She was born on December 12, 1943 in Hayes, Montana to Roy and Lilly Doney.  She met and married the love of her life, Sam Wilson, in Harlem, Montana.  They had 3 children Jackie, Dean and Paulina. 

Jean worked at Henry’s Café in Libby for over 30 years for many faithful patrons.  She loved being in nature especially during the warmer seasons and enjoyed going for drives to look for rocks and picking flowers.  She would often be found going to rummage sales and attending craft bazaars around Libby.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Sam, 3 brothers, and 1 sister.

Survivors include her 2 sisters, 2 daughters, 1 son, 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. 

There will be a Celebration of Life at the Libby Cemetery when the weather warms up, as per her wishes.  Arrangements are by Schnackenberg Funeral Home in Libby.  Online condolences and memories may be made at www.schnackenbergfh.com.
