Julie I can't believe you are gone. I miss your beautiful smile, your happy demeanor and your willingness to help the ones you loved. I so hope I can help your momma find some kind peace. We love you Jewlez and I so hope you have been reunited with your father and great grandma. If you have any pull up there in heaven please help heal Tommy's heart. God bless

MY little baby doll, I love you more than anything in this world and you were taken up to heaven way to soon for your momma to cope with, I don't know how or who to call and be my best friend and baby girl that knows how to fix everything. Ooh baby girl my heart aches for you to pop through the door and yell up " hey Momma, whatcha up to ". And god just to see that Julie smile only you could smile like that baby doll. I love you , I miss you and I will see you again, save momma a spot cuz I'm coming straight into your arms. I love you my baby girl

I did not know Julie, however, my husband did. She worked at the family water disposal across the road from our house. Troy had gotten a call about the accident and was saddened by her death. He said she was young and will be hard to replace at her job! He said she was very friendly and always smiling. We want to send our condolences to the family.

Julie was the kindest person I have ever met. She was the most caring and giving soul. She never said a bad thing about anybody. She loved her brother and his kids tremendously. It was my privilege to have her as my friend. It was a honor to be her friend. The world will fill empty without her wonderful soul around. She touched ever one she came in contact with. Julie will be missed by everyone she befriended. My god bless you. I know you are with your farther and you puppy and will watch over your family.

Dear Tami and Tom and Jeff, Tami and Jeff we have been friends for a long time, and I just want to say I am so sorry for your loss again. I know sorry is never enough, I feel like I should say I know how you feel, because I guess I do. Saying see you later is the best thing for me, I pray you know in your time of sorrow, that I am thinking of you, and may you lean on each other for support. I know Brent is with you in thought and prayer.. God bless to all you and your family, her friends, and loved ones, I met her a few times, and she was GOLDEN!!! Take care and God bless love and friends always, Monica Lee Cratty!

I was very saddened to hear of the loss of my neighbor. She was a very nice and wonderful person. My heart goes out to the family in this time of tragedy. May the memory of her bubbly personality and her love for them help to comfort in the days to come.

I know that words are inadequate at a time like this, but I wanted you to know how very sorry my family is for your loss. May you find comfort in God's promise at Isaiah 41:10.

I lived in Troy from 2006 until 2009. I knew the Steiger family and enjoyed knowing them. I was a temporary part time Patrol officer and was laid off due to the budget. It was Julies mom Tami that told me about the security positions. I was hired as the Security supervisor along with Julie, Jennifer Culpepper and a couple others. I will always remember Julie for her smile and happy outlook. Gone too soon. Rest in Paradise.
