JOSEPH P HESSENKEMPER

Joseph Paul Hessenkemper, 63, passed away peacefully surrounded by the people he dedicated his life to on Monday, December 4, 2017 at his home in Troy. He was born on August 28, 1954 at St. Louis, Missouri to Werner and Betty Hessenkemper. 

Joe and Kathy were married on August 1, 1981 at high noon in the Yaak. He attended the College of Forestry in Kalispell, where he received a Degree in Forestry. He retired from the US Forest Service in 2010, and was a member of the Idaho Beach Club.

Survivors include his wife Kathy Hessenkemper, Troy; children Tamara, Troy; Stefanie, Kent, WA; Adam, Troy; and brothers Richard Hessenkemper, William Hessenkemper and Charles Hessenkemper.

A celebration of life will be held this upcoming summer, 2018. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Lincoln County Wings or Lincoln County Hospice programs.

Joe will be forever remembered as a loving husband, father, brother and friend. 

The son has traveled home to rest.
