JOANNE GAY (HENYAN) GMEINER

Joanne Gmeiner, 59 years old, passed peacefully in her sleep at home in Libby, September 25th, 2019 with her family by her side. Joanne unfortunately lost her battle to terminal cancer after several months of fighting. She was born on February 11, 1960 at Spokane, Washington to Darrel and Patsy Henyan.

Joanne loved spending time enjoying the outdoors in Montana, hunting, fishing and camping with her husband, Greg Olson.

She is survived by her lovey dove Greg Olson;  her 6 children, Sarah Gmeiner, Amy Bobst Jessica Vent-Gmeiner, Jerremy Gmeiner, Robert Gmeiner and Randy Olson; her parents, Pat Thompson, Loran Thompson and Darrel Henyan; 13 grandchildren that she loved dearly; brother and sisters, Penny Polanco, Allen Heyan and Julie Henyan, as well as many other family and friends that loved her tremendously.

Joanne’s family will be holding a celebration of life, next spring, date to be determined. Arrangements are by Schnackenberg Funeral Home in Libby.  Online condolences and memories may be shared at www.schnackenbergfh.com.
