Norma Ruth Erickson

Norma Erickson passed away February 26, 2024, at her home in Troy, Montana. She was born March 11, 1954, in Bonners Ferry, Idaho, the daughter of John Cox and Rosalie (Green) Cox. In 2010 Norma started a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization. SaneVax.org was Norma’s passion, her heart and soul went into it. It became the first international HPV vaccine information clearing house. She will be missed worldwide.

From Mario Lamo: “It is with deep sadness that I also receive the news of Norma’s passing. She was the first person I met in this fight against the Gardasil vaccine and her help for my country, Columbia, was immense. She participated in a radio program to which I invited her here in Columbia and we gave the first warning about the bad effects of this vaccine. Norma invited me to the Autism One conference, there we met, and she offered her knowledge, as well as that of multiple guests, victims, doctors, and activists who were in the same fight. Thanks to Norma and the articles we published in Sanevax in English and Spanish in Columbia, we achieved through a legal procedure that the vaccine was not mandatory in Columbia and vaccination was reduced from 85% to 15%. Her book, Journeys from Trust to Tragedy, along with Freda Birrell (from Scotland) and a collaboration of mine on Latin America, has served as an inspiration and raised awareness about the criminal HPV vaccine. I hope her website continues to work; we need it! I write a note in tribute to this great woman and fighter until the last moment for a just cause. She has touched many and many lives were saved with her help. To all of Norma’s friends and acquaintances a big hug, she and her fight will live forever in our hearts”.

You have been an epic warrior, blazing trails for others to follow, and you've fought diligently against a system that has sought to silence our sons and daughters in the most heinous of ways. Thank you for the dedication, heart, loyalty, time, and energy that you poured into your years of service”.

From Shannon Powers: “For those who never had the pleasure of knowing such a passionate and most intelligent woman, you were cheated! I am so blessed and thankful to have shared many years listening and sharing so much of our lives with one another. Norma will leave a legacy for sure. She was the founder and powerhouse behind a magnificent organization that I am proud to be a part of. Sanevax.org was her passion and speaking the truth to millions all over the world. She helped thousands upon thousands of families by helping them understand the truth to what was happening to their children! She fought so effortlessly for each and every one of us! She not only gave facts to help us understand, but she also gave LOVE, compassion and encouragement that tomorrow would be a better day! At this time no arrangements have been made. Loved ones are trying to find the right way for those who would be willing to contribute to her organization to keep it alive. More information will follow shortly. In the meantime, give thanks and LOVE to a beautiful woman who admired all the injured for being BRAVE enough to speak their TRUTH!”

Norma leaves behind two sons and one daughter, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
