Joe and his family were and are a very important part of our family. We have been so lucky to be blessed with all of you, but especially Joe. I inherited him as a brother-in-law when I married Ed. Ed and Joe met when they were first hired by the USFS in 1976. They met in the bunkhouse at the Yaak Ranget Station and became good friends. So, they have known each other for quite a bit longer than they have known their wives. They loved each other as brothers. Joe's passing will leave a hole in our lives. But we will remain family forever.

Kathy and family. I was so sorry to hear of f Joe's passing. I enjoyed the many years we had together, working at the district, and having beers at the Silver Spur. Joe was a valuable Forest Service employee that really new his business. I will always keep the memory of his friendly grin and warm personality in my mind.

Dear Kathy and kids, We were so sorry to hear about Joe. He was a good man and a good friend. We will always remember all of the fun we had playing cards on Saturday. Joe had an easy laugh and was always a good sport when his chair would wind up wet. :-) He enjoyed life. Wish there were words to say that could help you during this time but please know our thoughts and prayers are with you all and I do believe one day you will be together again.

My deepest condolence to your family and friends during the most difficult time. There are no words that can ease the pain of losing a loved one. May you find peace and comfort in know that they are in God's memory and he assures us that we will experience the joy of seeing them live again here on this earth. (Job 14:14, 15)
