We are grateful for having known Don for several years. He walked by our house in Rexford almost daily, and would often stop to chat if we saw one another as he passed by. He had many, many interesting and funny stories to tell us about his early life in the Rexford area, and did so with great enthusiasm and humour. He never wanted us to record what he had to say, which was unfortunate because he was such a wealth of information about the years he spent in the area.
We greatly miss seeing him walking the path by our house, but know that he is walking a wonderful path now. We wish him great joy on his journey.
