CECIL E FOOTE

Cecil Foote, 91, of Troy, died on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Brendan House in Kalispell.  He was born on April 17, 1926 at Mansfield, AR to Leslie and Addie (Nidlett) Foote.

Cecil moved to Montana at the age of 15.  He started falling timber with a cross cut saw with his brother.  He married Maxine Helton in 1946 at Whidbey Island, WA and they made their home in Lincoln County in Montana.  Cecil retired from St. Regis Lumber Co. in 1982.  He enjoyed fishing and hunting.

He was preceded in death by a son Clyde Foote.

Survivors include his wife Maxine Foote, Troy; children Butch Foote (Julie), Libby;  Ron Foote (Arvey), Grants Pass, OR; Ken Foote, Napavine, WA; Marcia Foote, Big Fork, MT; a brother Johnny Foote, Liberty Lake, WA;  a sister Betty Cunningham  and numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Troy Community Baptist Church in Troy.  Arrangements are by Schnackenberg & Nelson Funeral Home in Libby.  Online condolences and memories may be shared at www.schnackenbergfh.com.
